Colette and Sarai's, Well That's Dumb!

My mother pointed out a great, pervading dumbness prevalent among young men - you know what I'm talking about. The wearing of the pants around the ankles.

Okay, so they're not really around the ankles, but they could be at any moment! I'm talking about people who wear their jeans so low and loose, you fear you are going to get a glimpse of their Mr. Toad's. (If you aren't familiar with Mr. Toad, read one of my mom's romance reviews or just use your imagination.) Often, you do get glimpses of their tightey whiteys, which is bad enough.

Mom and I discussed solutions for this once. It involved magical powers and cinched belts. I'll let you fill in the blanks.

I think if young men knew where that tradition started and why, it would make them feel dumb on top of looking dumb.

I also hate the baggy sports things that basketball players wear. I say we bring back the really short tight ones they wore when I was in school. Females now just don't know what they are missing.
