Lincoln

If Daniel Day Lewis does not get an Oscar for his role in Lincoln, it will be a crime.

I was not super excited to see Lincoln - I'm saving that for Les Mis - but Mom and Kevin were interested so we went. Talk about a who's who of actors! Amazing costumes, amazing facial hair (and there is no lack of facial hair here, let me tell you), and amazing sets. You could practically smell the oil in the air from the lamps. The language took some getting used to for me, but I was moved anyway. I really feel that Daniel Day Lewis must be an intimidating man to be around, especially when he is involved in a movie role. He just was Lincoln. It was pretty amazing. Another terrific movie for 2012.
